I have a listing on my Etsy shop...

Hello-

One of the cards in the grab bag package
Today is a short post.  I am de-cluttering and de-stashing my cards.  The reason is I am in the process of getting ready to make and list a whole bunch of cards for the holiday season.  Soon in a couple of months, people will be looking for cards to send to friends and loved ones and I want to be part of the action.  So part of my efforts is list cards, let people know that they are available, not just for show, but to buy.  I have a little gadget that will help me with the videos, and that is my Ipad.  So I do not have to have a webcam for my desktop, but I am getting one anyway.

Anyway, the link for the video is HERE. or view from this page.   The listing price for the pack of cards is $50, which is $2.50 per card, and there is 20 nice cards in this package.  Some of the cards were given to me in a card swap, and there are some in there by me.
I hope you do take a look at my listing, which you can view on the right side of this post.
Have a blessed evening.

BLOG HOP ORDER:

Today is the last day, and I have enjoyed myself.  For my last item, I am concentrating again on my scraps. this time, it a cute card.  The only thing that is new is the glitter strip at the bottom of the card.  The glitter tape is by American Crafts.  The sticker is from sentiment set from the first card I made, and the paper is left over from the layout I made on Friday, the little note cards and happy birthday card from Saturday.  I used the gel pen on all projects, except the cards on Saturday.   The card blank is from a card I started to make a couple months ago, but the card took on new life.

All of the projects you saw the last couple of days is in celebration of many events, from birthdays to life after a illness.   The layout was for celebrating life after breast cancer and the fact that I love the color pink, the note cards can be placed on presents or a quick note if you make them big enough, The happy birthday cards (Saturday's and today's) wishes a person a happy birthday, and the 6x6 is a remembrance of 2nd birthday of a child's party with family and friends.
My advise to you is to make something.  It does not have to be scrapbook or paper crafting related.  make a piece of jewelry, a pie, shelving, or a favorite casserole, but make something.  You will be surprised that you are actually creative in some way.  It keep your brain thinking and sharp.  It also keeps you from thinking of things you normally do not think of.
Thank you for visiting with me this weekend, and I hope you will stop by my blog more often.  You never know what ideas I may have in store for you.

Be blessed everyday.

BLOG HOP ORDER:

First of all, I want to apologize for the picture.  I took the original subject with my smartphone (the phone is not very smart if you ask me), then I took the layout with my IPad, so the words on the cake are a little distorted,  My digital camera bit the dust months ago.  I had a freak accident with it by dropping it, and broke the door of the battery compartment, and it finally gave up 5 months ago.  This is what happens when you depend on backups, and trust me, a Smartphone and an IPad are exactly that, backups.  Trust me, if you want a quality picture, a digital camera is best for the job, not wannabe's, LOL

Anyway, on with the program.  This is super simple, and it requires a 6x6 sheet of cardstock, a scrap piece of paper, about a little less than 6x6, and your single photograph.  Mat your photo, then adhere to the 6x6 piece of paper.  Write a description of what is going on, and put some faux stitching around the photo with a gel pen.  The layout is part of a year in review layout for me (I never make anything for myself), and trust me, it looks better in person.
I hope you enjoyed the layout.  It goes to show that you can have a layout, no matter what size you make.  It can be 3 photos and have a lot, like my day one layout or it can be 1 photo and become 6x6,  Let me know what you think by commenting below.

Be blessed everyday.

BLOG HOP ORDER:

Well it is day 2 of the blog hop, and so far, I am having a good time.  Today, I have a cute quick little craft for you to make, and it is super simple.  In fact for this project, all you need are your scraps of paper.  You to cut up strips of paper that measure 2"x4" and fold in half.  set aside.   Next take cut scraps of patterned paper measuring 2"x2" squares and glue ti the front of the card blank.   You now have little note cards, that you can add to presents.  You can make them any size you want, and it is a good way to use up your scraps.  These cards, I used scraps of DCWV Black Current and Lace and Linens.  You can also put a little embellishment on top.

The next card, I also made with my scraps.  It is color block card, but it wishes the adult in your life a happy birthday.  I used the DCWV Lace and Linen card stack.

Well that is it for today.  Next person is Kristen.  Please comment, and you have a blessed day.

BLOG HOP ORDER:
Chauntelle (007) http://spoiledgirlcreations.blogspot.com/

I want to wish Scraps of Color a Happy Anniversary.  8 years.  In celebration of occasion, I am part of a blog hop.  This for the Blog hop, I made something in celebration of Breast Cancer month, which is October.  Pink is the signature color and I love the color pink.  So I created this one-page layout today.
I used my stash, because I did not have time to run to the store.   I used black cardstock for the background and DCWV's Lace and Linen for the accent papers.  Instead of taking pictures, I grabbed some pictures I had on my computer that were pink.

The tag in the corner is from a swap I participated in, and it talks about love, and gives a definition of word.

Last I put a prima butterfly and some recollection pearls on.  I lightly colored the pearls with a copic marker #RV23 (pure Pink).

The writing says: "I am a girly girl, but yet, I am all woman."   A girl cannot have too much pink in her life."  "I love the color Pink."

I hope you enjoyed today's quick layout.  I will be back tomorrow with something new.  Your next stop is Kristen

Have a blessed day.
